Budapest once again hosts the world’s finest press photographs. From among the 57,376 photographs submitted by 3,747 photojournalists from 141 countries to the 2026 competition, the independent jury selected and awarded works that offer rich and nuanced portrayals of the most pressing issues of our time – from devastating conflicts and abuses of power by law enforcement to the climate crisis and the advancement of women’s rights. Together, these stories from around the world challenge our preconceptions and encourage every viewer to take a closer look and reflect more deeply.

Guided tours for student groups are free of charge. Guided tours are available exclusively on weekdays. We do not offer guided tours on public holidays or weekends, including working Saturdays.
One accompanying adult per group of students under 18 is admitted free of charge. The student ticket price is HUF 3,900.
