Gift Shop
Our gift shop, located next to the Main Gate, offers a variety of cute plush animals, exciting books, and unique souvenirs for those who want to take a piece of the Zoo home.
The gift shop’s opening hours align with the zoo’s schedule. Our shop is located right next to the Main Gate, with its entrance accessible from inside the Zoo.
Zoo Photo
Create a lasting memory next to the Shark School with a digital photo for 1,200 HUF or add a printed copy for another 1,200 HUF.
Appear alongside selected animals and take your souvenir home instantly with card payment only.
Zoo Pull-along Cart
These pull carts can be rented from the Zoo Shop and used within the Zoo premises only. A rental fee and deposit are required.
The deposit, payable in cash, will be refunded upon returning the cart and key.
Deposit: 10.000 HUF / carts
Rental fee: 1.000 HUF / hour – every started hour is considered a full hour
Zoo Minibus
Our seasonal zoo minibus departs every half hour from the main entrance, from 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM. The ride takes approximately 20–25 minutes, with the following route: Great Lake, Australian Trail, Predator Row, Shark School, Savanna House, Great Ape House and Main Gate.
Tickets – priced at 800 HUF – can be purchased at the gift shop with cash or a bank card.
Playgrounds
Several playgrounds can be found throughout the Zoo, all specially designed for children. These play areas are also marked on the map, making them easy for visitors to locate during their walk around the Zoo.
Situated at different points across the grounds, the playgrounds offer children a chance to take a break with some movement and play while exploring the animals.
Schäftner Carousel
The carousel operates seasonally in 2026:
March 14 – April 30: weekends, and every day during the spring school holiday.
May 1 – August 31: every day.
September 1 – November 1: weekends, and every day during the autumn school holiday.
Opening time is 10:00 AM, and it operates until the Zoo closes.
The price for one ride is 1500 HUF. Tickets can be purchased on site, and payment can be made in cash, by bank card, or with an OTP SZÉP Card.
Locker Storage
Self-service lockers are available in the reception area of Magic Mountain, where smaller items can be stored during your visit.
Wheelchairs
For visitors with mobility challenges, we can provide wheelchairs for ease of movement. Please inform the staff at the entrance if you require a wheelchair. Unfortunately, we cannot provide an assistant along with the wheelchair. Thank you for your understanding.
Baby Care Room
A baby care room is located in the reception area of Magic Mountain, next to the restrooms. Changing tables are also available in all restrooms.
First Aid Stations
During carefree play, minor injuries and scrapes may occur, which we can treat on-site. First aid supplies are available in the restrooms next to the playground and the Aquarium. If you suffer a minor injury (e.g., a scratch or sting), our colleagues on duty at the location will assist you.
