Amazing Annual Conference in Budapest October 7, 2014

The stunning location, excellent organisation and wonderful hospitality provided the ideal backdrop for a set of highly productive meetings ranging from TAG meetings to the inaugural meeting of the new Communications Committee. Excellent plenary speakers ranging from a conservationist working in the depths of the unspoiled Burmese jungle to the Director of the Barcelona Museum of Natural Sciences demonstrated the breadth of EAZA's activities worldwide, and pointed to exciting new projects which will keep the Association moving forward towards its goals of conservation, education and research excellence, both in our local communities and further afield.

EAZA would like to thank Dr. Miklos Persanyi and his team at Budapest Zoo for their wonderful welcome, all of the participants in the meetings, and the conference organisers Congressline Kft, who made it all come together. We look forward to seeing you all in Wroclaw, Poland next year (22-09 to 26-09)!
