Following the great success of the Light Dome in March, from November 6th, our Zoo’s Biodome will once again host a light art exhibition for over a month. The Light Dome 2 presents the magical creations of domestic and foreign artists. Tickets are already available, and we even offer discounted presale tickets until November 5.
The Light Dome 2 light art exhibition will be open for visitors from November 6 to December 8 in the Biodome of our Zoo and Botanical Garden. In the unique atmosphere of the special building’s interior spaces, the audience can admire installations and light art creations by domestic and foreign artists.
The Light Dome 2 is realized as a joint artistic project of the Zoo and the INOTA contemporary audiovisual festival organizer COLLOC Productions, as well as Centrum Productions, just like the previous Light Dome held in March. The current exhibition dazzles visitors with brand new compositions – 30 installations by 50 artists – compared to the March exhibition.
The central theme of the exhibition will be nature, which – just like light itself – encompasses a wide spectrum from the microbiological level all the way to outer space, including human activities. Visitors can discover installations adapted to the location, which reveal the power and fragility of nature, in an interactive or symbolic form.
The Light Dome 2 will be open for visitors every day from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm during the period from the first Saturday of November to the second Sunday of Advent. Tickets can already be purchased at the ticket offices of the Zoo and Botanical Garden and on its online ticket purchasing platform, at a discounted price until November 5.
