The Biodome will host a special light art event from March 1 to 17.
This will be the first time the interior spaces of the Biodome will be open to the public.
The curators of the INOTA Festival are reimagining the space with site-specific installations and projections by local and international artists.
During the 1.5 to 2-hour visitor experience, guests will enjoy an immersive experience in the characteristic spaces of the Biodome, encountering content created by contemporary media artists.
Through light art and audiovisual installations designed by local and international artists, visitors can explore natural phenomena and the artistic expression inspired by them inside the Biodome. The artists exhibiting the projections and installations have showcased their work at numerous international festivals with great success.
The project is an initiative of the organizers of the INOTA Festival’s light art program (COLLOC Productions, Centrum Production), joined by LaLuz Visuals, known for its monumental light paintings, and the internationally renowned light artist Kari Kola.

The event’s main sponsor is Telekom.

Useful info

Directions
The LightDome, located in the Biodome, is most conveniently accessible by public transport via Trolleybus № 72, the M1 metro (Millennium Underground), or Tram № 1. For Trolleybus № 72, if traveling towards Zugló railway station (Hermina Street), the Kós Károly promenade stop is the closest. If traveling towards Orczy Square, the Bethesda Street or Széchenyi Bath stop is recommended (the entrance is roughly halfway between the two stops). For the M1 metro, disembark at the Széchenyi Bath station, and for Tram № 1, get off at the Kacsóh Pongrác Road stop. From there, you can walk through the pedestrian underpass to the corner of Kacsóh Pongrác Road and Állatkerti körút (Zoo Boulevard), just a few metres from the Biodome entrance. For more information on public transport, please visit the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK) website.

Parking
For those arriving by car, we recommend using the “Parkoló ZOOna” located to the right of the Biodome entrance, or utilizing the parking spaces on nearby public roads (paid parking zone!).
