This year, on the evening of August 30th, from 7:00 p.m. to midnight, we welcome friends of the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden with a variety of programs, attractions, and nighttime spectacles.
In addition to the seal show, elephant training, and divers swimming among sharks, visitors can also watch the feeding demonstration of Persian leopards and lions. Of course, the lucky dip with horse gear and the quiz game are not to be missed. At our ongoing programs, visitors can learn about the natural world in many different ways.
At the Magic Mountain, families can enjoy planetarium screenings, insect displays, and various educational presentations outdoors, where they can even chat with astronomers.
At the Main Gate Square, fire jugglers, mirror animals, and musical performances will entertain the audience, with the Strokes percussion group joining us. The lineup of stage performances includes a show by the Elysians.
The Schäftner Carousel and the Amusement Park section will offer nostalgic experiences. In addition, there will be face painters and animal-themed crafts workshops.
At the Australian House, the Great Lake, the Small Rock, the Great Rock, and the Courtyard of Crafts, there will be all-night light displays to brighten up the zoo night.
